Dresses, A Yard Sale & Etsy

Hi there! My name is Leah and I'm the creator of My Darling Adeline. I design, sew, & sell sweet little dresses for sweet baby girls. I absolutely love every aspect of creating one-of-a-kind dresses. One day I'll have to share the story of how this all got started; but tonight I'm going to be filling you in on what's been happening. My Darling Adeline is brand new! I actually have an Etsy shop ready to go, but I haven't listed any of my dresses yet. Why, you ask? Well, I'm planning to have a "kick off" event at the Prigel Family Creamery Yard Sale on August 27th. I'm guilty of {attempting} to hype everyone up about my dresses. Yes, I do have motivation behind this. First of all, I would love to sell the dresses locally...and it doesn't get more local than across the street! Second, I want everyone to know about Prigel Family Creamery!! My husband is a dairy farmer and he works for his uncle. His uncle owns the creamery...and I know I'm biased, but I think they really do have THE BEST ice cream (and evidently others agree because they just won Baltimore's Best Ice Cream in Baltimore Magazine)! So, I decided to try out selling my dresses at Prigel Creamery's event first. The yard sale, which will take place Saturday August 27th, starting at 8 AM, will also have other vendors and regular yard sale tables. There will also be....one of the things I'm most looking forward to...brunch catered by Clementines!! If you haven't heard of Clementines, check them out sometime. They even havebeef from our farm on their menu! Ok, seriously now, I'm going to get back on the subject ofsweet little dresses. The first opportunity to buy the dresses will be at this yard sale. I'm already dreaming of how lovely they will look hanging on the branches of a tree. I sure hope the weather is cooperative! I'm hoping that I will be able to gauge the interest people have in my product and hopefully sell a few dresses. The remaining dresses will be listed on Etsy. Right now, all of my dresses are one-of-a-kind! I think that makes them even more special. Eventually, I may have more than one of each dress, but I don't plan to "mass produce" any design. I have way too much fun choosing different fabrics. Besides, onesie designs are always changing with the season!

Take a moment to browse my pics on my facebook page ::My Darling Adeline::. I have pics posted of all the dresses I will be bringing to the creamery. If you have a specific design idea in mind that you don't see, I would be glad to try to bring your vision to life! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you at the yard sale next Saturday!
